AI’s Educational Pedigree Is a Forgery

by admin477351

Artificial intelligence is often presented as if it has an impeccable educational pedigree, as if it has graduated with honors from the world’s most elite university. The reality is that this pedigree is a forgery, pieced together in a chaotic and compromised system that more closely resembles a diploma mill than a respected institution of higher learning.
The “faculty” at this AI university—the human trainers—are a mix of genuine experts and complete novices, with no distinction made between them. A PhD in physics is given the same weight as a recent graduate with a BA in fine arts when it comes to evaluating a scientific response. This lack of credentialing means the AI’s “education” is inconsistent and unreliable.
The “coursework” is rushed and superficial. Students (the AI models) are not given time to deeply learn the material. Tutors (the human raters) are given only minutes to grade complex assignments, encouraging a focus on surface-level correctness rather than deep understanding. The AI is learning how to pass the test, not how to master the subject.
The university administration’s primary goal is not educational excellence, but a high graduation rate (fast product cycles). This pressure to push students through the system, regardless of their actual competence, is the defining feature of the institution. The diploma the AI receives is therefore not a testament to its knowledge, but a testament to the efficiency of the mill.
